As an Absa credit cardholder, you are automatically enrolled to the cashback loyalty programme where you get rewarded for your everyday purchases at any merchant outlet or eCommerce platform.
How you earn cashback points
Your card allows you to earn cashback points on local purchases and international purchases. You can easily track your points through your monthly statement or internet banking.
Reward point value
The value of your reward points may vary from time to time. This value is published on the Absa website and updated on the 1st of every month whenever there is a change.
- Platinum credit card: 100 points is equivalent to Kes 0.50
- Signature credit card: 100 points is equivalent to Kes 0.50
- Gold credit card: 1 point is equivalent to Kes 0.25
- Classic credit card: 1 point is equivalent to Kes 0.25
How to redeem your cashback points
Your reward points can be redeemed for cashback directly to your card by simply calling our 24-hour Contact Centre on

To make the most of your points, always redeem once you have earned enough points, as your points expire 36 months after you've earned them.
